1st Points of the Season!

It was a very exciting game that got off to a rough start for DUSC. After giving up two goals in the first 25 minutes, the team battled back with a goal from Bryan Sanchez and then an own goal by Mt. Pleasant, on a well taken penalty from John Arnsdorf, to tie the score at 2 going in to the half.

In the second minute after halftime, Carter Wells made a beautiful slip pass to Nathan Williams and DUSC had the lead for the first time. It was very hot and both teams were tiring before Carter Wells closed the game out with a beautiful goal on a pass from Nollan Riley to give United a 2 goal lead which they were able to complete with some solid goalie play from Eli Coyle, for the 4-2 victory. There were a lot of good performances today, but the biggest difference makers were likely the DUSC wing backs, Jon Arnsdorf and Cooper Riley, who were menacing MP all day on the flanks.

The boys now have 2 weeks to prepare for their next game, against Beach United, who will travel down the coast and come to Summerville on Saturday, September 10 at 11am in a battle of United's!

Great job today boys!!!
